Two small Windows apps I built for my own workflow. Both run entirely on your computer, nothing gets uploaded to me, and they cost nothing.
Nothing you do in either app is sent to me. There is no account to create and no cloud server behind them. When SocialCast publishes a video, your computer talks directly to the platform you picked.
Repurpose one video for every platform: reframe it, add captions, and post it everywhere from one place.
The first time you open SocialCast it asks you to create a master password and a display name. The password encrypts any accounts you connect later, and it stays only on your device. There is no reset, so keep it somewhere safe.
Drag a video onto the window, or click to browse. MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, and M4V all work. The video stays in a local folder on your machine.
Pick the shape you need: vertical (9:16 for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok), square (1:1), or landscape (16:9 for YouTube). Drag the frame to choose which part of the video stays in shot.
For a vertical clip you can stack two crops of the same video, one above the other. Put your gameplay or main content in one panel and a second area, like a webcam corner, in the other. Drag each panel to frame it and use the slider to set where they meet.
Click Auto captions and SocialCast transcribes your audio on your own computer using the optional captions pack. Read through the lines, edit any wording, and choose a size. Captions wrap to fit the frame at whatever size you pick.
Click Render to build the clip. Preview it in the app, then Download to save the file. On the free version the downloaded file carries a small MartinWorks watermark. Pro removes it.
Open Accounts and connect the platforms you use, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Each connection is stored encrypted on your device. Then choose your platforms, add a title, description, and tags, and click Publish. Your computer uploads directly to each one.
The trend scanner suggests popular tags for your field, such as gaming, Blender, or art, so you do not have to guess. Pick a field and drop the tags you like into your post.

The free version does the full reframe and render. Pro is a one time purchase that unlocks auto captions, split panel layouts, direct publishing to platforms, and removes the watermark. It is $25 once, no subscription.
One license activates SocialCast on your machine. If you move to a new computer, deactivate on the old one first, then activate on the new one.
